Bagru is known for its block printing, a technique that uses wooden blocks onto which has been carved the pattern to be reproduced. This process is most effective on ethnic floral patterns and for printing in vegetable dyes in traditional patterns. A wander around the area where the printers are found is an interesting experience for anyone, but particularly those that have an interest in textiles.
