As well as Todos Santos, another traditional village in the Huehuetenango area is San Juan Atitan. The journey there is via a steep road with spectacular mountain views. 

Both the men and women here wear the traditional clothing of white trousers, red-striped shirts embroidered around the cuffs and collar, and black woollen capixays (open-sided coats). The women’s huipiles are primarily red stripes with embroidery across the front, back and arms.
