Paulet Island, in the Ross Sea, is enormously rich in wildlife. Home to at least 100,000 breeding pairs of Adélie penguins it also attracts numerous predators including skuas, sheathbills, petrels and leopard seals, it offers visitors a fascinating introduction to the ecology of this Antarctic region.
