An optional excursion to the nearby Greek island of Kastellorizo – truly an Oscar-winner of an island! Kastellorizo was the feature island of the movie “Mediterraneo” which won an Oscar for “Best Foreign Language Film” in 1991.

What To Bring

Clients should bring drinking water container, sun protection, comfortable secure footwear for walking,such as lightweight walking boots or shoes, a couple of warm layers, waterproofs and swimwear. Also recommended are reference books, binoculars, cameras and notebook.

Other Information

Kaş is an attractive cosmopolitan harbour town. It has a range of good restaurants, some lively bars, a range of shops, several banks with ATM machines, several pharmacies and some local supermarkets.

Higher altitude flower weeks, in May, June or July, may be arranged by special request. Generally this will require some harder walking and some nights in a lower standard of accommodation.
