Accommodation
Located deep in the Amazon Rainforest, the Muyuna Lodge has 17 ‘Jungle Style’ bungalows where visitors can enjoy an Amazonian stay in simple, but comfortable surroundings.
Set 130 kilometres upstream from Iquitos, on the banks of the Rio Yanayacu, a tributary of the Amazon, the Lodge has a restaurant, relaxing lounge, excellent local experts and prides itself for offering some of the best opportunities for seeing wildlife in its natural habitat in the northern Peruvian Amazon.
Each bungalow is hermetically protected by a mosquito net and has a terrace with its own hammock facing the river, where is possible to watch pink dolphins as well as fish in the river’s flood times. Visitors to the Muyuna Jungle Lodge become enchanted by the colourful sunsets and the deafening silence of the rainforest at night.
