	On arrival you will be collected by your own driver and transferred to the Malpas Hotel, a journey of around 50 minutes. After checking in enjoy dinner.

2	Welcome meeting and free to relax.	Kyrenia area
	At 10:00hrs our representative, will give you information about the country, its history and everything that you may need on your holiday as well as answering any questions you have. After the welcome meeting, you have a free day to get into the swing of the slower pace of Cypriot life, enjoying the facilities of the hotel and generally unwinding. Dinner in the hotel.

3	Jeep Safari and BBQ.	Kyrenia area
	Today we set off on a 4WD adventure! First we climb through the Five Finger Mountains in our 4WD and visit famous Buffavento Castle. Then we drive further east to the Herbarium at Alevkaya, seeing many different types of local flowers, especially orchids, and wild plants. We will have a BBQ lunch under the pine trees, and then drive to Turtle Beach to relax and have a cup of Turkish coffee. Finally we drive back along the coastline to the hotel.

4	Nicosia, the "Divided Capital".	Kyrenia area
	Today we travel to the capital of North Cyprus. Nicosia has been the capital of the island for hundreds of years, and offers lots of things for you to see. Unguided you are free to ramble through the city discovering St. Sophia Cathedral and the perhaps the Bedestan Closed Bazaar, and the Buyuk Han. Afterwards you have plenty of free time for shopping, and time for a relaxed lunch inside the old city before returning to Kyrenia. Tonight we have booked a table at one of our favourite local restaurants on your behalf. You will, as ever, be collected by your driver for the short journey to Kyrenia. After your meal and perhaps a walk around the harbour you will be transferred back to the hotel - simply call your driver and ask him to collect you.

6	Visit to Salamis and Famagusta	Kyrenia area
	Today we include a sightseeing visit to the east of the island, to Salamis and Famagusta. Travelling in your comfortable Mercedes car you'll head between a cleft in the mountains to then turn east towards Famagusta. After an hour’s drive you'll arrive at the Monastery of St. Barnabas, its archaeological museum and 5th century chapel. Next, the Kings Tombs show how the Kings were so loved by their subjects that when they died they were buried with all their belongings - clothes, gold and even their horses. The people at this time believed that by doing this, their beloved King would have all they needed to start a new life. After our lunch, we drive to the ancient Roman city of Salamis. This was the biggest city of the kingdom of Cyprus for some 18 centuries, from the 11th century BC until the 7th century AD. The ruins of this ancient city with its vast marble columns surrounding the gymnasium, pool and baths, theatre, Temple of Zeus, and the beautiful sun mosaics of St. Paul will give an experience of what life must have been like in those times. Later you return to the hotel for dinner.

7	Walking tour in the Besparmak Mountains.	Kyrenia area
	Today we explore the wonderful Besparmak Mountains. Translating as 5 Finger Mountains the Besparmak are a Cypriot landmark and hold withing them wonderful areas of nature, flowers and the most beautiful views. Our walk will be at about 700m above sea level and around 17km long, of an easy to moderate standard. We break the journey for home-made snacks, and later for lunch - a renowned feature of the day! After a wonderful day out in the fresh air we have again arranged a meal for you in Kyrenia. Again, your driver is at your disposal tonight.
