India was once home to thousands of royal Bengal tigers, but with hunting during the Raj era and poaching in latter years their population has dwindled. Now, protected in a few areas of beautiful rural India, they survive and are today one of the must-sees for any wildlife enthusiast.

This trip is based in Ranthambore National Park, south of Delhi. We make 4 game drives into the park thus maximise the chances of spotting this elusive and hauntingly beautiful creature. Success rates of sightings of tigers are high here and the additional wildlife we are sure to see is as much a reason for visiting as the tiger itself.
