Ghazala Voyager is operating throughout the Egyptian Red Sea to dive world famous sites like, the Straits of Tiran, Brother Islands, Daedalus and Rocky Islands. The Ghazala Voyager’s guests will appreciate the comfort and style afforded by one of the Red Sea’s most renowned liveaboard vessels the minute they board.

28 meter/90 feet in length and with 3 deck levels and with a beam of 6 meter/20 feet guarantees the maximum 16 passengers ample living space and staterooms with private facilities. The freshwater-maker allows generous use of showers and rinsing of cameras and equipment. Around the clock electric power (220V) guarantees fully charged strobes and hot and cold water. For Nitrox production a new membrane system has been installed (available under the Nitrox for Free program).

The centre of social life onboard is the air-conditioned lounge, with stereo and video system. 3 first class meals each day together with post-dive snacks and coffee and tea are all provided.

The itinerary of our one-week southern excursion includes reefs such as Elphinestone, Abu Dabab, Samadai and Wadi Gamal – all familiar names to keen divers who know what the southern Red Sea has to offer.

The deep south safaris start from the small port of Marsa Ghaleb from where we head out to some of the best diving in the world. In comparison to the reefs around Sinai, Hurghada and Safaga it is necessary to cruise much longer distances: these reefs are distant so much so that to reach St. John we even have to cruise during the night.

The depth of most of the dives range between 10m - 25m, the exceptions are Elphinestone, Shab Sharm, Furyshoal and St. John’s.

Massive formations of stone and table corals dominate most of the reef sceneries. They form beautiful and interesting caves, undercuts and canyons (Samadai, Shab Claude, Sataya). Typical reef dwellers are grouper, humpback wrasse, school of unicorn surgeon fish and banner fish. Currents attract barracudas, snapper, white and black tip sharks, and occasionally hammerheads and manta rays can be seen.
