1	Tour starts in Adelaide, full day sightseeing enroute to Wilpena Pound	Wilpena Pound
	Travel North from Adelaide to the picturesque Flinders Ranges; Visit Wadlata Outback Centre in Pt. Augusta for hands-on interpretive displays about the history and culture of the Flinders Ranges. Lunch at Wadlata or the historic railway town of Quorn at the friendly Austral Hotel then tour to Caves to see ancient Aboriginal paintings and hear the local Aboriginal creation story of this mysterious site. Travel to a spectacular gorge - a 20 kilometre trail that passes through 130 million years of earth history, giving an insight into past climates, the formation of the ranges and the evolution of early life forms. Enjoy a bush foods afternoon tea and look for the endangered Yellow Footed Rock Wallabies and other wildlife. Travel on to Wilpena Pound Resort with leisure time for a walk, visit the Information Centre, a drink at the bar or a swim; dine at the Wilpena Pound restaurant before retiring in the deluxe Wilpena Pound Resort accommodation.

2	Full day sightseeing before return to Adelaide
	Enjoy a buffet breakfast at Wilpena Pound Resort restaurant before taking a walk along Wilpena Creek to Wangarra Look-Out for amazing views into Wilpena Pound and a visit to the Hills Homestead for insight into early farm life. Enjoy a bush foods Morning Tea en route in a picturesque gum tree flanked creek bed; tour to local ancient Aboriginal rock art site to hear Adnyamathanha creation stories and art interpretations. This site features ochre and charcoal images depicting the creation of Wilpena Pound. The walk into the site offers spectacular views of the Chace Range. Travel back to Hawker for lunch. Check out the Wilpena Panorama Gallery to see a magnificent 360 degree painting of Wilpena Pound and other locally produced art, craft and food; Depart for Adelaide and visit local ruins (time permitting).

Wilpena Pound Resort - Accommodation consists of a motel room or self-contained unit with: Air conditioning; T.V.; Fridge, tea & coffee making facilities; Outdoor eating area.
Wilpena Resort also has a swimming pool, shop and visitor information centre. Plus several available self guided walks and local activities.
Note: Choice of accommodation style may be limited by availability; cheaper accommodation options are available by negotiation.

Transport

Experience the outback in comfort and style, travel in our accredited chauffeured vehicle - a luxury, fully optioned current shape 4WD Land Rover Discovery 3 HSE or Mitsubishi Pajero Exceed both with dual air-conditioning and leather interior. Vehicles are also equipped with comprehensive first aid kits, safety and recovery gear and emergency communications radios and equipment.

Wilpena Scenic Flight- Take a 30 minute scenic flight for a birds-eye view of Wilpena Pound and the Ranges. Cost $120 per person, Min 2 people - Bookings essential.
