Your chauffeured 4WD tour is an all inclusive package with everything catered for - deluxe accommodation, meals, entry fees, tours to significant sites and the sharing of extensive knowledge, interpretations of the land and Aboriginal cultural stories from your Aboriginal tour guide.
Depart Adelaide and travel north to the picturesque Flinders Ranges. Stop at scenic Port Germein for morning tea and visit Wadlata Outback Centre in Pt. Augusta for hands-on interpretive displays about the history and culture of the Flinders Ranges. Enjoy lunch at the historic town of Quorn in the friendly Austral Hotel before a visit to an ancient Aboriginal cave painting site and hear the local Aboriginal creation story of this culturally significant site; pass by historic Hawker to experience the vast and diverse landscapes of the aussie outback.
Arrive at the Prairie Hotel at Parachilna for check in and afternoon tea; after freshening up, we journey to a local Gorge to marvel at the landscape and search out the endangered yellow footed rock wallabies; return to the Prairie Hotel for dinner from their famous menu and an evening experiencing the old charm and luxury of this outback pub.
Today we tour through the townships of Leigh Creek and Copley with morning tea en route; following this with a tour to a spectacular secluded Gorge. Here we learn about Aboriginal etchings dating back many thousands of years; take a break in this peaceful location for a picnic lunch featuring "billy tea and damper" (weather permitting).
After lunch, travel south to take in the sights of Parachilna Gorge en route to historic Blinman; with a quick pit stop at the Blinman Hotel or a delightful hot drink at the Wild Lime Cafe'. From here we venture south passing many distinct features before arriving at our overnight destination.
Check in at the luxurious eco-villas at Rawnsley Park, relax, and dine on gourmet cuisine in their unique Woolshed Restaurant; after dinner take the time to relax and enjoy the surrounds of your 5 star eco-villa.
After breakfast choose between: a one hour guided horse trek through beautiful bushland scenery (extra cost - $50 pp); a 30 minute scenic flight that will take you over Wilpena Pound ( extra cost -$110 pp) or relax on your eco-villa deck and enjoy the scenery for a little bit longer.
Depart Rawnsley Park and visit the Wilpena Panorama Gallery in Hawker; then on to the wine district of Clare Valley for lunch. Enjoy the afternoon by visiting two renowned boutique cellar door wineries; depart for Adelaide.
