Accommodation
11 nights hotel, 1 night on overnight train, 1 night on board junk (twin cabin with en-suite facilities).
Transport
Car, minibus/midibus (dependant upon your group’s size), on foot, junk, boat, domestic flights, cyclo and overnight train.
Meals
13 breakfasts, 4 lunches and 3 dinners.
Staff
Driver(s), boat and junk crew(s) and regional guides.

What To Bring
Essentials include light cottons such as summer shirts and t. shirts, comfortable trousers/skirts, sun protection (suncream, sunglasses and a sunhat) for city use. Note that you should take warmer clothing such as a good fleece and a warm jacket for the evenings and mornings between October and March when it can get surprisingly cold in the north.
Swimming gear.
It is always necessary for both sexes to cover their legs and shoulders when visiting temples. Mosquitoes are rarely a problem though some travellers do like to bring or buy locally a spray for their hotels rooms (Raid, Baygon or similar). A small personal first aid kit and towel.
Group Size
This Private Journey is aimed at families (of one parent and child upwards) or groups of families travelling together with a maximum of 14 to 16 passengers in the group (see note in Other Information).
Other Information
Whilst this is designated as a "Family Adventure" it can easily be taken by couples or small groups of friends. As ever the itinerary can be adapted to suit your needs - just ask.
