Arrive in Krakow and transfer to a centrally-located three star hotel for three nights' stay. After you have checked-in, there is time for a preliminary stroll through Krakow and first impressions of the old town centre and its' night life. Poland's former capital has a very distinctive character and is on the UNESCO world heritage list. The city's historic architecture came through the Second World War unscathed and the city has preserved its rich culture to the present day. It was the residence of Polish kings, with nearly a hundred churches, as well as Poland's oldest university.

In the morning visit our office and discus the details of your stay. Collect information material: city map, list of current cultural events and vouchers for dinner. This morning enjoy a self-guided walking tour of Krakow. Suggested sights: the Royal road, St Mary church with the famous Veit Stoss Altar, the Barbican and Florian Gate and through the Market Square to Grodzka Street. Visit to Wawel Hill. After lunch (at your choice and expense)– time to explore the Museums and exhibitions.

Using public transport (with help with any tickets, timetables and planning from our office staff and representative) you may see one of the famous sights near Cracow: Wieliczka - to visit the historic Salt Mines or Auschwitz concentration camp. You can also rent one of our bicycles and ride along Vistula River to Tyniec Monastery.
