The classic guided and porter-assisted trek in Nepal, to the foot of the highest mountain in the world walking in the footsteps of some of the planet’s greatest-ever explorers, the Everest Base Camp trek is the pinnacle of mountain walking for many. Not an easy trek - the demands of high altitude walking are many – the rewards for those that successfully make it along the trail through classic villages such as Lukla, Namche Bazaar and Tyangboche are many with memorable close-up views of dramatic mountain peaks with their piercing icy-white summits almost within touching distance. With a hard push and with good luck the trekker will reach both Everest Base Camp and Kala Patar where unforgettable images of the giant will be enjoyed, memories to last a lifetime.
