Accommodation
Accommodation will be in Backpackers in shared dormitory rooms, or if paying a single supplement in private single or double rooms (tour only).
Transport
We use a fully equipped Toyota Hi-Ace with comfortable seating, large windows and a music system. All luggage is carried in a trailer to ensure maximum comfort in the vehicle.
Meals
4 breakfasts and 3 dinners. The menu is of high standard and can be adapted to cater for any dietary preferences.

What To Bring
Maximum baggage allowance: 12 kg. Jenman Safaris stipulates this luggage allowance, as an overloaded vehicle is a danger to both the clients and the guide. This does not include photographic equipment and a small daypack. Please bring a backpack or soft barrel bag, not a suitcase. Don't bring too much clothing, as there are washing opportunities along the way. Please adhere to the allowance specified as space for luggage is limited.
Clothing and other items to bring are: shorts, camera, walking shoes, light trousers/jeans, swimming costume, sandals, T-shirts, sun hat, windbreaker, warm clothes (May – August) long-sleeved shirts, sleeping bag, torch & spare batteries, water bottle, pillow, UV protection, mosquito protection, towel.

Cape Town add-on
As a Cape Town add-on before or after the tour we offer you a three-day package. On day 1 you’ll be picked up to the airport and transferred to your accommodation, the next day you’ll participate in a Cape Point Tour. The following day you’ll be picked up for your Garden Route Experience.
Accommodation is in a shared dorm room (bed only), at Ashanti Backpackers or Guesthouse within walking distance of the city centre.

Operator Remarks
- Additional Airport transfers can be arranged on request
- Clients are advised to bring enough money to cover the purchase of curios, and additional entertainment. There are automatic teller machines (ATM’s) available everywhere to draw money. Foreign exchange into the local currency is possible in most large cities through which we pass.
- International credit cards and travelers cheques are widely accepted.
- Our guides are trained in basic first aid and the vehicle is equipped with a comprehensive medical aid kit. Preventative Malaria medication should be taken before the trip and throughout its duration, although it is advisable to consult a doctor prior to departure.
- It is compulsory for all travelers to have insurance covering their personal requirements, medical expenses and personal possessions. This is to be arranged before leaving home country. Jenman Safaris has comprehensive public liability insurance.
- The onus is on the client to organize all visas required for South Africa.
