Kinabalu National Park declared Malaysia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a forest reserve extending over 754sqkm. 2hrs journey by overland to Kinaablu National Park Headquarters 1, 1558 from the sea leval… A climb is usually within the capabilities of most averagely-fit people, taking you on forest trails past exotic plants up the huts at Laban Rata. Here on Kinabalu there's an astonishing variety of flora and fauna, from the lowland dipterocarp forest oak to the alpine meadow plants.

Next morning head out early to reach the summit, 4,095m, in time for dawn - a magnidicent sight that makes the climb worthwhile.

Descending you head down to the park gates and head to Poring Hot Springs for a relaxing soak before being transferred nack to Kota Kinabalu.

Day	Itinerary	Night stop
1	Transfer to Mt Kinabalu NP; free.	Mt Kinabalu
	Meet at hotel lobby and transfer to Kinabalu National Park. Journey takes approximately 2hrs. Stop by at Nabalu Handicraft Centre and free at own leisure. Browse some handicraft for souvenir. Journey proceeds to Kinabalu National Park. Upon arrival, check into accommodation in hostel accommodation (bunk bed) and free at own leisure. Register for the next day climbing and rest for the day for challenging excursion for the next day. Dinner and overnight in park.

2	Climb to Laban Rata (3272m)	Laban Rata (3272m)
	Meet your mountain guide and have a short briefing. Proceed to Timpohon Gate and start your trek. The trek takes approximately 5 – 6hrs. Enjoy observing the surroundings, a region blessed with an astonishing variety of flora and fauna from the lowland dipterocarp forest to the alpine meadow plants. Upon arrival, check into the accommodation. Free at own leisure. Dinner and overnight in Laban Rata Hut.

3	Climb to summit; descend and transfer to Poring Hot Springs.	Poring
	An early start this morning (around 03:00hrs) as you ascend slowly to Low’s Peak (4095m). Expected to reach in time of sunrise at around 07:00hrs. Descend to Laban Rata for breakfast and after descend to Timpohon Gate and meet your tour guide to transfer to nearby restaurant for lunch. After lunch continue to Poring Hot Spring which its takes us approximately 1hr, and check in. Upon arrival, rejuvenate your body and mind at Poring Hot Springs, a natural health spa where you can relax in an open-air- Japanese-style baths amidst a tropical rainforest setting after a long challenging trip. Dinner provided at Rainforest Restaurant.
