The small Botswana town of Kasane lies close to the borders of Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Its location at an important regional crossroads makes it a popular place for travellers seeking a safari experience into the wilderness of Chobe National Park.

Growth over the past few years has led to the development of upmarket safari lodges, camps and a bustling travel community.

Attractions in Kasane

Entrance to Chobe National Park is only a few kilometres from the town centre at Sedudu Gate. The magnificent Victoria Falls - one of the greatest natural wonders of the world - is only a couple of hours drive away.

Activities in Kasane

Daily cruises are offered down the Chobe River, whilst game drives depart in the early mornings and late afternoons into Chobe National Park. Fishing expeditions for the ever-feisty tiger fish and delicious bream can also be organised.
