Pafos District, Cyprus
Approximately 23 kilometres north of Pafos is the village of Kato Akourdaleia. It is said that the village name derives from the word "korda," which is the long strong rope made in the village.
This small picturesque village offers a generous sense of serenity and calmness. Nature lovers can spend good time and relax at the Chrysochou valley, is rich in vegetation, vines, and fruit trees. On the outskirts of the village is the Folk Art Museum, and a short hike away is the restored Medieval Church of Ayia Paraskevi.
