With a friendly and welcoming people, Zambia is acknowledged by many as one of the safest countries on the continent to visit. Zambia's people live in peace and harmony. It is the land of the legendary African walking safari and is home to our planet's biggest waterfall - Victoria Falls. It is blessed with the wild Zambezi River, breathtaking lakes and wetlands, a profusion of birds, and an abundance of wildlife and wilderness.

For more seasoned travellers, Zambia perhaps offers a real African experience where traditional village life abounds once out of the major settlements, and deep-rooted tribal customs hinge together the nation as modern life encroaches. Out in the bush, however, the wildlife is superb and some of the finest safaris and lodges in Southern Africa are available.

With the wealth of activities around Livingstone, the Zambezi and Victoria Falls it is no wonder most travellers only see a tiny corner of Zambia. If you can find the time though, do explore other parts of the country -you'll be surprised at how much Zambia has to offer!
