Here you can climb to the top of Mt Kinabalu and then head to Sepilok to meet orangutans face to face before taking a river cruise to look for more amazing wildlife. Alternatively why not try scuba diving on Sipadan or chill out on the tropical beaches of Tioman island or at one of many other beautiful spots. If culture’s your thing head to Georgetown on Penang where as ever in Malaysia there’s a multi-ethnic community of Malay, Chinese and Indian people, especially vibrant at festival times.
