I've travelled to Uganda many times over the past 30 years, and lived there for a short time. It is a breathtaking country and one of my favourites - not least because of the lovely Ugandan people. Happy, smiling and welcoming - some of Africa's friendliest without a doubt. With the Victoria Nile, Lake Victoria, Mountains of the Moon, tea-clad terraces, coffee plantations and a diverse wildlife, the contrasts are many. Don't rush a visit - Uganda deserves more than just a quick visit!
