I was lucky enough to visit New Zealand several years ago. I travelled up to Ninety Mile Beach, the beautiful Bay of Islands, through the Coromandel Peninsula and on to Rotorua and Lake Taupo. My memories are of a wonderfully friendly place with plenty of space and stunning scenery.My only regret was that I didn't allow myself enough time to travel to the South Island. Still that means that I will just have to visit again sometime.
