I'd love to return to Sydney, although I detest the spiders in Australia, and would love to see more of the United States and Thailand.

Hi Jenjens and welcome to the site. Any plans to add Africa or South America to your list of travels? Thanks for registering and hope you enjoy the site, Colin.
Hi Jenjens,I see you have travelled extensively in Europe. Have you any favourite country or place you want to return to or visit often? There must be somewhere that has abiding memories for you?Laurence.
Well ... that is difficult. I have just returned from Krakow, Poland, and although it was fascinating (including a visit to Auschwitz and the Salt Mines) I would not want to return there. France, Italy and Prague have abiding good memories, and I plan to return to Florence later this year, and to Nice sometime within the near future. How about you? Jenny
Hi Jenny,Italy wold be a close second for me, especially Florence. Some years ago I did a trip, by train, from Milan to Florence, Verona and back to Milan. I thoroughly enjoyed it as I arranged it myself and was not running to a tight schedule, like a package. I also love France, the Alps around Annecy, being a particular favourite!Spain tops my list, but I may be a little biased as I have a house there and visit regularly. It is away from the "tourist" resorts, so I meet the real Spanish and see the real Spain and its culture. It is like a home from home now!I still travel to other destinations and have many plans to do so.Have you any plans for the near or far future?Laurence.
Hi LaurenceI love Italy too - and France and Spain. In fact we have booked a week in Florence in September and I am really looking forward to it. Your train trip through Italy sounds amazing! I love train travel! Have been to Rome a couple of times; Venice once; Sorrento twice; and on a classical Italy tour which took in Florence, Siena, Assisi and Rome. Where is your house in Spain? I have a friend who lives in Murcia. We went to stay with her once about 5 years ago. It seemed very 'un-touristy' there.Apart from our trip to Florence, I hope to visit Nice soon, along with some friends from Edinburgh, whom we met on the Classical Italy tour. We've just returned from a trip to Krakow with them. It rained all the time!! Apart from that it was very interesting.Jenny.
