Having worked in Athens for a couple of years, we have a house built on a Cretan hillside to which we have retired. Val spends much of her time developing the garden. Crete as an island has so much to offer (once you get away from the very few mass-marketed resorts) - walking, quiet beaches, culture, excellent food and friendly people. This has NOT stopped us travelling!
Most places, preferably less developed. We HATE crowds! We have a particular soft spot for South America.
