For a full day trip from Marrakech, Essaouira is hard to beat - fabulous seafood, an atmospheric old medina, great shopping and huge beach. Don't miss the open-air fish stalls or a walk along the city ramparts.

Pole Pole is one of my favourite African escapes. With a breathtaking location overlooking Chole Bay, and a really chilled atmosphere and all the home comforts necessary, Pole Pole is a real place of relaxation. De-stress, take a massage, do nothing - dive, fish, snorkel, read, drink, eat and be mer...

One week is long enough to discover the main highlights of Senegal. Saint-Louis is the real highlight - a beautiful French-influenced city surrounded by National Parks and birdlife.

Hello Nick

Posted on:
Monday, 21st January 2008

Thanks for your message. I have sent emails to the companies listed for Uganada and Rwanda. Is there only one company that you know of that goes to Rwanda? I plan on doing a Gorilla Trek in both countries, white-water rafting, visiting a couple of orphanages, and spending time in some of the parks hiking and seeing other primates. I'd love to do a a short jaunt to Ethiopia as well if I can get a bit more time off of work. What is the shortest amount of time you think I will need for a taste?. I will do a longer visit later on. Are there specific recommendations you would have for me. Thanks again! Elisa
