Hi to all you travel addicts! - I'm one of the 3 co-founders of addictedtotravel.com. Since a then adventurous cycle ride from York to Istanbul over two decades ago I've been addicted to travel ever since. Africa remains my passion, though I've been lucky enough to travel far and wide.
As well as travelling and spending as much time as possible with my family I enjoy cycling, walking, photography, wildlife, exotic people, remote places and volcanoes!
Guide books.
Ipod with as much variety as possible.

I've been waiting for weeks to find the time to create and publish our country guide to Libya, and it is now finally live - albeit with more places to visit to write-up and review. We're just about to publish over 100 photos highlighting the archaeol...
Along the shores of peaceful fjords and sounds lie the towns and villages of the Faroes, which sparkle in multi-coloured splendour against the deep green swath of cultivated pastureland surrounding them. Above them rise mountains with green sloping f...

This is one of my favourite Med cities - but not during the peak of high season in July and August when the streets are crammed full with people. If you have a choice of when to travel, try May, June, September or even a winter break. The old medieval city is intoxicating - on my last visit I did a ...

I stayed in this tented camp for 2 nights on a 10 day adventure holiday in northern Sudan. Staying here was memorable - the tents were comfortable, not luxurious, but ideal considering the overall lack of infrastructure in this part of the world. Italian influenced dinners were very tasty - followed...
Just finalising some stuff for Oman and UAE - watch this space.
Hi Nick - yep, I'm over there for 3 days next week. Should be a great trip!
Not been in touch for a while.
Thanks for your message. I have sent emails to the companies listed for Uganada and Rwanda. Is there only one company that you know of that goes to Rwanda? I plan on doing a Gorilla Trek in both countries, white-water rafting, visiting a couple of orphanages, and spending time in some of the parks hiking and seeing other primates. I'd love to do a a short jaunt to Ethiopia as well if I can get a bit more time off of work. What is the shortest amount of time you think I will need for a taste?. I will do a longer visit later on. Are there specific recommendations you would have for me. Thanks again! Elisa
Sent you an email - hopefully you got it!Let me know what you want doing when you've a spare moment!
Nick, was great to meet you personally - hope the whole concept of ATT flourishes, as now you have thousands of mailing list - you guys were really busy during destinations!
