Let the train take the strain... to Khajuraho! Options

Hi all,

Anyone travelling to Khajuraho from either Agra or Varanasi had to either:

1) Fly in to Khajuraho, or
2) Take a train from Agra then a 4 hour bus ride from Jhansi, or
3) Train to Satna Junction then 6 or so hour bus ride from there.

But not any more! It seems that "from February" a rail link will open between Mahoba, 63km to the north of Khajuraho, enabling trains to be taken from surrounding towns and cities.

Keep an ear and an eye open - and if anyone take a ride on the new route - let us know.
