Hi all,

The Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia travel guides are now live on the site.

If you are interested in the region and have any questions about travel in the region you could do worse than contact Khiri Travel and Buffalo Tours.

Khiri will soon be showcasing their multi-country tours on the site, with a variety of offerings linking Thailand, Laos, Cambosi and Vietnam in a bewildering number of ways: this kind of things is what they excel at. The guys at Buffalo Tours are the ones to contact if you are looking for mid-price trips: maybe a kayaking trip around Halong Bay, off-the-beaten-track-trekking in the Sapa area, a cycle trip or a combination of all three.

I've known Willem and Frans at Khiri for several years now, ever since I worked with them when I was officebound as Product Manager in a small-group adventure company. They are great guys who truly care about what they are doing and how they do it.

When I was with Frans up in Chiang Mai we visited an orphanage Khiri supported - they had installed whacking great water purification plant in the orphanage at their own cost. As a result of this visit I incorporated an optional trip into an itinerary we had and I know that many many people visited the orphanage as a result, dropping off old clothes and toys etc. and not feeling at all like voyeurs. Khiri really do strike the right balance in this kind of thing.

Kien at Buffalo Tours is another old friend with whom i've worked in the past. Extremely ambitious but without willing to cut corners he's forged Buffalo into one of the most resepected operators in the region: ask any of the larger operators and they all know Kien and his team. Part of his success has been down to sheer hard work, but the rest is because he delivers exactly what people want, he's got a great team behind him and his heart is in the right place RT-wise.

Anyway, enjoy the Travel Guides and get back to us with any comments and suggestions.

Bye for now,

Carl
