I am dying to go out to papua new guinea this near-christmas to have a look at their birds of paradise, but travel info or tours of that sort seem to be limited. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Travel to PNG is one of the more difficult destinations to organise travel too (though I haven't been). I do know that one of the most reliable operators there are these guys:

It is difficult to organise travel over there. But If you properly organise it would be a nice journey.

It is a nice place to visit and excellent place to explore. It is a different experience to see new places around the world. I would recommend you to have a journey to Papua New Guinea.
