Well our first travel fair has just ended and was a huge success! For the first time since we launched our website a few months ago, we've had the chance to meet and introduce addictedtotravel to real travellers face to face. After 4 days on our feet in Dublin we're all pretty exhausted, but absolutely delighted with the positive reaction of Ireland's travellers. Over the years, Carl, Colin and myself have spent many days attending trade shows - but never on behalf of our company.And what a difference that makes... There was a constant buzz around K14 (our stand) as we all grasped the opportunity to talk to as many people as possible about the benefits of using and joining our new internet portal for experiential, activity and adventure travel. The organisers of the show were expecting an overall attendance of about 50,000 people - and at times the halls felt pretty packed as visitors ambled through the aisles of tourist boards, operators, agents, mobile homes and caravans on display.
