These objects allowed the Incas to poetically define their religion, their cosmological world and even their own genealogy…The Museum Hall “Gold from Peru” gives the opportunity to embrace these unique concepts through a selected collection of unprecedented gold & silver works.

Additionally, this experience allows travelling through the three Lima’s historical periods (pre-Hispanic, Colonial and contemporary) and contemplating the richness of the different works Peruvian ancestors did with the precious metal.

Itinerary

- Morning transfer to visit Lima’s most important attractions;
-The Plaza de Armas, the "heart" of the city which started to beat the very day the city was founded and more beautiful than ever due to its recent renovation;
-The Government Palace which houses elegant apartments and halls, in addition to priceless paintings;
-The Cathedral which contains notable features in its interior like its choir pews, the ivory baroque chapel and the tomb of Francisco Pizarro, the "conquistador" of Peru.
-The Huaca Pucllana, an archaeological pyramidal precinct build in the IV century A.C., used as a magnificent ceremonial and administrative centre which was considered by the Incas a holy village.
- The Museum Hall “Gold from Peru” in Larcomar exhibits 167 works in gold and other precious metals, produced by north-coast Peruvian cultures.
