This beautiful coastal drive has the magnificent scenery of mountains on one side and the Gulf of Oman on the other. Many beautiful white sandy beaches run parallel to the road which eventually brings you to the picturesque fishing village of Tiwi. We'll visit the Bimah sinkhole and the renowned Wadi Shab to make the easy walk to the clear pools in its depths - perfect for swimming. With a visit the picturesque village of Tiwi followed by a drive up Wadi Tiwi to Mibam and the surrounding oasis this is a wonderful day out full of fantastic scenery and an insight into Omani life.
 

Itinerary

We depart from your hotel at around 08:00hrs and head out for our fist stop - the Bimah sinkhole, a geological formation and scenic wonder. From here we head to one of the day's highlights, the Wadi Shab, one of Oman's most beautiful wadis. Here we make an easy 45-minute walk to its pools of clear water where we can relax and swim.

After lunch we travel on to the picturesque village of Tiwi and follow this with a drive up Wadi Tiwi to the village of Mibam and the surrounding oasis before we return to Muscat in the early evening.

Omani English speaking driver/guide with excellent knowledge of local area. Picnic lunch with water and soft drinks.
