Located close to the famous town of Urgup in the heart of Cappadocia, the land of the Fairy Chimneys, the Selçuklu Evi Hotel sits in a small lane surrounded by gardens and local houses and offers panoramic views of rock hewn caves and the old village of Urgup.
After 3 years of restoration by the master craftsmen of Cappadocia, the warm, honey-coloured stone of these 5 old houses is complete and the property now comprise of 20 rooms and luxurious suites set around a delightful garden against the famous Cappadocian rock.
The typically local architecture utilizes local stones and this keeps the hotel warm in winter and cool in summer in a way known to locals for centuries. Today the Selçuklu Evi Hotel provides supreme comfort in a traditional style for those visiting the region.

Rooms
The Selçuklu Evi Hotel is composed of 20 rooms and there are 5 suites. Each room and suite is different, decorated with antiques and carpets, with wooden ceiling and floor, satellite television, direct telephone, central heating, minibar, electric kettle with coffee, tea and herbal teas.
The marble bathrooms are equipped with a jacuzzi or with a shower with water-jets and hairdryer. Many have panoramic views of ancient cave-dwellings. The stone construction with arched ceilings and carved reliefs keeps the rooms cool in summer and warm in winter.

As with other rooms there are hand-embroidered bedspreads and pillows, stone walls, a marble bathroom with shower and wrought iron or wooden beds. The floor is covered with carpets and kilims and as with other rooms antiques and local objects d’art are found throughout.

Breakfasts include gözleme - Turkish pancakes, cooked in fresh in front of guests – and a variety of traditional breakfast dishes in an open buffet. Evening meals start with mezze – delicious hot and cold hors d'oeuvre – and go on with a range of typically Turkish dishes that can be enjoyed in the garden should the mood take you, where a range of red and white Turkish wines can be enjoyed. Vegetarian and children’s menus are available.

Payment Conditions
30% deposit at the time of booking, the balance payable at the end of your stay.
Cancellation Policy
If the cancellation is made more than 15 days prior to arrival there is no cancellation fee. Cancellations within 15 days attract a cancellation fee of 1 night of the booked accommodation.
