The Superior Royal Rooms and Heritage Rooms are perfect for people looking for traditional luxury, with each of them is offering a different experience in princely living. The Suites are very large in area starting from 50 sq mtrs onwards they are elegantly restored and most look onto the gardens or the majestic courtyard. Some have view over the rooftop of the Jaipur and various forts and palaces and most of these suites have been the personal chambers of the members of the royal family. The beautiful and sumptuous décor with most Rajasthan arts like mirror work, hand painting with gold and silver ornamentations, stucco fine expression in these suites, they boast of private museums, housing collections of the Royal family.
The Durbar Mahal Suite Apartment was used by the ruler himself and overlooks the inner courts of the palaces, and better still the Charbagh Garden. It combines a double-height reception room with vaulted apartments intended for private use. It was a sleeping chamber for the Thakur Sahib and its luxurious ornamentation includes gold leaf painted walls, stucco and mirror work. It has a overhanging jharokas looking towards the Charbagh from where he used to give first public appearance. The furniture is in gold and silver. It has a private passage connecting the different pavilions and the Zenana. The highlight of the suite is a private museum displaying the old throne and bolsters of the Thakur Sahib.
The Heritage Rooms are restored and lavishly refurbished and a few offer private museums housing the art collection of the Royal Family. The bathrooms are most luxiourious and offer the best modern facilities and designer fittings. The rich palace furniture along with special fabrics and colours add the princely charm to the whole setting of the room. Each room has its own soul, its own individual harmony a marriage of the finest material, rare woods, silk, brocades, furniture and artefacts created by masters craftsman.
