Located around 40 minutes from Seeb airport and right on the beach of a stunning bay.

The Oman Dive Centre sits on its own secluded and private beach just 10 minutes from the centre of old Muscat, Muttrah. Accommodation in traditional ‘barasti’ palm-leaf huts have been taken to a whole new level offering a degree of comfort similar to that of a 3* or even 4* hotel. En suite bathrooms are standard as is a small veranda the vast majority of which have wonderful sea views. This distinctive and characterful accommodation is complemented by the restaurant, pool and bar. The resort offers a wide range of dive activities from day excursions to qualification courses and makes the perfect place for divers and none diving partners to enjoy a holiday away from it all.

Rooms

Rooms are bungalow-style with comfortable twin beds and en-suite toilet facilities and are tastefully furnished. To retain a traditional feel the exterior walls are made from barasti palm-leaves; inside walls are made from tightly woven rattan. Spacious and airy they are air-conditioned for comfort and have a fridge and safe. Accommodation is provided on a half-board basis with dinner included.

Fair Trade Information:

We encourage all guests to refill their water bottle in-house from our central source, rather than add to plastic waste by buying a new bottle of water each time. Many thousands of plastic bottle destined for land fill sites can be saved in this way.

The unique barasti huts are built with natural materials - palm fronds; with a minimum of cement used the energy required to create accommodation is much reduced, lowering our carbon footprint.

Reservations can be secured with a 30% deposit with the balance paid on arrival.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations will forfeit the deposit if made within 30 days of arrival.
