A historic property doesn’t mean going without a good level of guest amenities and facilities. A large private car park gives onto the hotel where porters can assist with luggage. We have a lift for less mobile guests, along with a laundry service, exchange and safe-deposit facilities, baby-sitting to allow guests with young children time out and well as a restaurant and bars.

We have extensive gardens for strolling and relaxing in and an outdoor pool which is popular with all members of the family, not just children.

Dining

The Kailash Restaurant is a traveller's delight. An enormous 4500 sq. feet of space with carved ceiling, intricately worked walls, small bejewelled mirrors and piped music provide an opulent backdrop to meals prepared by our chefs. Excellent food, beautiful presentation, and majestic yet a comfortable and relaxed ambience are attributes of the Kailash Restaurant. The Kunti Bar is enriched by stout wooden beams, carved pillers, intricately carved Nepalese windows and good, old-fashioned Nepalese bonhomie whilst the One Eyed Bar, named after the third eye of wisdom, is perfect for pre-dinner aperitif or a casual meeting with good friends.

Payment Conditions

A deposit of 10% of the cost of the stay secures a room with the balance paid on departure (by cash, travellers’ cheque or credit card (Am-Ex, Mastercard or VISA)).

Cancellation Policy

If cancellation is made more than 72 hrs before arrival the deposit only will be forfeited. Cancellations between 72 hrs and arrival date then the full cost of the stay is forfeited.
