Lisu Lodge is hidden in the countryside only an hour's drive north of Chiang Mai. Nestled in a rich, green valley that time seems to have forgotten, is a Lisu tribal community that has managed to hold onto its cultural origins while benefiting from the progress of responsible tourism.
A key factor in this success story was the establishment of the Lisu Lodge over twelve years ago. This award-winning eco-lodge is a sanctuary for Lisu heritage, a direct link to the heart of this fascinating tribal group.
There's a tranquil and soothing atmosphere surrounding the settlement that is staffed and managed by a Lisu tribe. Built in traditional style with an eye for western comforts, the lodges overlook the lush fields of the valley and serve as your base-camp for a magical blend of adventure, relaxation and insight.
Lisu Lodge is available only as part of our specially designed packages which range in duration from 1 to 4 nights. A wide variety of activities (which can be opted out of, should you wish) are included in our package prices and which can include elephant trekking, rafting, hiking and mountain biking.
