The setting of the Lavanta is hard to beat, the large gardens and grounds (around 20 acres) and swimming pool only adding to the sense of relaxation.
The centre-point of the exterior is the wonderful, large swimming pool which is surrounded by a sun terrace with many sun-loungers and umbrellas to provide shade.
The cuisine is a highlight of a stay at the Lavanta Hotel and regularly prompts guests to write and thank Maria. A wonderful open-buffet breakfast is available until mid-morning and, in traditional Turkish style, comprises of olives, tomatoes, cheeses, honey and fresh bread. Fruit, yoghurt and cereals together with jams and sweet pastries complete the menu. Guests can elect to pay extra for half-board – worth considering as the food is exceptional with a superb and wide-ranging choice. The discerning guest will enjoy taking advantage of Tosun’s fine wine cellar.
