The house hosts an authentic Café in the basement, reflecting the classical Zanzibar architecture with arches, boritis ceilings and thick walls. Furnished with solid furniture and elegant lamps the atmosphere is truly unique and inviting. The Café serves a variety of coffee creations, which are all based on our own coffee production on Zanzibar and the highlands of Tanzania. Fresh croissants, cakes, muffins, and cookies from our in-house mini-bakery makes the stop-over in the Zanzibar Coffee House a true pleasure. Breakfast is also available in the morning.

The Zanzibar Coffee Company Ltd. Is the sole producer of the rare Zanzibar Coffee®, which is a blend of Robusta and Liberica coffee grown on Zanzibar island and fine Arabica coffee from the Riftvalley Estates®. This rich coffee as well as other coffee types are regularly roasted at the coffee house to ensure 100% coffee freshness and aroma to our customers.

Above the Café and the roasting room, the house offers now 10 individually furnished and air-conditioned Hotel rooms to guests who seek the unique experience of staying in an authentic coffee house. The small size of the Hotel offers great privacy to the guests who have also exclusive access to the Teahouse on top of the building.

Whether you want a romantic honeymoon hotel or the opportunity to explore the shores of the Indian Ocean The Tides Hotel has many holiday options. Sail the ocean on The Tides speedboat or a traditional dhow. Explore Pangani itself by taking an historical walking tour and absorb the culture of the Swahili Coast.

Swim, snorkel or scuba dive at the nearby Maziwe Marine Reserve. Rent kayaks boogie boards or bicycles to discover the unspoilt coastline of this little piece of paradise on the Tanzania Coast.

 'Fish the waters of the Zanzibar Channel and experience the excitement of hooking a big game fish, such as Marlin and Sailfish. Our boat comes fully equipped with a GPS, Fish Finding Device, two new Yamaha engines, quality fishing equipment, life jackets and an experienced skipper. 

For those who don't want to spend all day on the water we can take you fishing off the numerous reefs that line the coast just off-shore from Tides. Typical catches include Sailfish, Dorado, Wahoo, Tuna, Kind Fish, Barracuda.

The Old Boma is located on the side of a hill overlooking the Indian Ocean, providing breathtaking views from dawn to dusk.

A wide variety of activities and excursions are available from the Old Boma Hotel these include trips to Lukwika-Lumesule Game Reserve, Mnazi Bay Marine Reserve and guided tours.

Hotel facilities include a large swimming pool surrounded by Frangipani and Flame trees. A pool side bar is available, with the Old Courthouse providing shaded seating.

The house has its own large yard with a climbing vine, pomegranate, olive and mulberry trees, besides a livng room, a fully equipped kitchen, a studio, and two bedrooms.

Vinsobres is a village perched on top of a hill, and takes its name from the 11th century Vinzobrio. It was occupied by the Romans was a fief of the Montaubans, the Dauphins, the Princes of Orange and of the d'Urres. There are numerous cellars and wine domains that can be visited.

The Blue Door is the perfect choice for families since both bedrooms interconnect from inside enabling parents to keep an eye on their children throughout the night. It consists of two bedrooms with a shared bathroom (with bathtub), a large living room and kitchen.

The building is also available as a whole for a group up to ten people.



 

Porfyrios has a traditional room, a loft bedroom, and 3 one bedroom apartments. All apartments are nicely furnished and equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, hairdryer, quality kitchen appliances and utensils, and surround and overlook a private courtyard with a pool.

Walking in the nature paths, biking, horse riding in a nearby village, and visiting Choirokoitia neolitic settlements, Agios Minas Monastery, and Lefkara village are things you might do while in Porfyrios.

 

The small, medieval village of Montieri is just a stroll away, whilst Siena is within easy reach and a whole host of other attractions lie close by, from caves to wineries. There are plenty of activities on offer nearby from quad bikes and archery to more. Our classic Italian kitchen provides Tuscan and Maremman specialities with treats such as wild boar, mushrooms and chestnuts characterising typical dishes.

Its 12 oversized guest suites, including four 180° panoramic master suites, feature en suite sitting areas and generous outward-facing panoramic windows. Each of the handsomely decorated, air-conditioned suites measures between 230 to 240 square feet and is designed by noted Peruvian architect Jordi Puig.

You can socialize in the dining room, indoor lounge, on the observation deck, and in the outdoor lounge.

Vasilias Nikoklis Inn is the ideal place for nature lovers and bird watchers, where species such as francolin, kestrel, vulture, hoopoe, warbler ,and kingfisher can be seen.

Enjoy drinking wine and zivania with your host family. Trying local traditional food at the tavern is a must.  Visit the Museum and Aphrodites Sanctuary at Kouklia village. Not far from the inn, you will find three 18 hole golf courses .
