Jagat Niwas Palace is perfectly situated in the heart of Udaipur’s old city and adjoins the City Palace and is behind the famous Jagdish Temple. The hotel is an early 17th century haveli - a stylish mansion - located in the middle of what is arguably Rajasthan’s most romantic city, on the bank of famous Lake Pichola. A unique cluster of traditional houses its rooms have been restored to their original glory retaining all the charm one would expect of a heritage property. Situated around a central courtyard approached through a narrow archway from Jagdish Temple and the old city the haveli is constructed in typical Mewar style, its provides the visitor with relaxing accommodation loaded with atmosphere and great style. The views over the waters of Lake Pichola to the City, Lake and Monsoon Palaces are unrivalled.

Rooms
There are 29 well-appointed rooms each of which is different, all situated around a central courtyard. The rooms have been divided into four categories: Standard, Deluxe, Super Deluxe and Suites. The Deluxe, Super Deluxe rooms and the Suites mostly face Lake Pichola and have jharokhas (ornate balconies) in the rooms. These rooms are equipped with all modern facilities with traditional furniture and elegant fabrics. The Suites are furnished with antique furniture and king size beds.
