In the heart of Florence close to the Duomo, all major attractions and numerous restaurants, this small and friendly hotel is the perfect getaway for those seeking a weekend break, or for business visitors to the city. Hotel Centrale is an immaculate, well-located and affordable 3* property located steps away from the Duomo. This family owned and run hotel is the perfect place for those seeking a high level of comfort in a historic property close to all Florence’s main sights. Recently renovated the hotel is located on the 2nd floor of a 17th century palazzo and retains historic features such as a frescoed ceiling dining room and wood-beamed bar whilst providing modern and spacious bedrooms many of which have great views of San Lorenzo Basilica.
Rooms
The hotel has 20 rooms, all with ensuite facilities. All are air-conditioned and have a TV, shower, toilet, bidet and hairdryer. Wi fi internet is available in all rooms and public areas of the hotel. All rooms have a minibar and safe. Frescoes and paintings by great masters and other artists of the past are reproduced in all room, creating a lovely atmosphere. Rooms have views of the mountains or over neighbouring red-tiled rooftops of Florence to the San Lorenzo Basilica. A child’s cot or crib can be provided free of charge, upon request.

The hotel is located on the 2nd floor of the renowned Palazzio Malaspina and is accessible lift as well as a huge and grand stone staircase. The small reception has an internet access point adjoining and a few steps further the comfortable bar area complete with sofas, TV, chess set and a range of books including coffee-table tomes on the city’s sights. A wooden ceiling adds to the relaxing atmosphere. The hotel has a conference room that could accommodate up to 30 people and is equipped with the latest audio-visual equipment and the frescoed ceiling of the room adds a touch of sophistication to any meeting, whether business or pleasure.
