Islands Club lies on one of the untainted largely unexplored virgin islands – Bugala – on the shores of Lutuboka Bay.
Islands Club provides hotel services with a touch of luxury yet with homely simplicity that many a traveller and lover of nature will find at once endearing. The hotel can be reached by a three and a half hour ferry crossing from Entebbe or a shorter, and more frequent, crossing by ferry from Masaka.
Guests can either stay in the self-contained two roomed cottages built in the shade of the tropical trees, or camping is available.
A basic small hotel offering a warm and hospitable service.
The white beach stretches for miles on either side, ideal for beach walks – bare foot and enjoying the breath taking sight of the crystal clear water, which in the clear sunny day, is very irresistible to the swimmer. Islands Club provides boat fishing, some of the largest Nile Perch have been caught here. You could opt for a leisurely motor boat ride have the thrill of your live time on a speed boat in the vast lake. Walk through the cool canopies and gnawed tree branches before finally ascending the hill overlooking Islands Club down below. The hotel is in an ideal bird watching location.
Enjoy your favourite local and international dishes served in the open air with a touch of African hospitality and warmth for which Uganda is famous for. The bar provides an array of drinks – soft, spirits and beer – both local and international.
