In the heart of Berber country, among the tranquil foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, nests the Domaine de La Roseraie. Its altitude of 1000 m will offer the perfect climate. The Domaine de La Roseraie was created 35 years ago by Mister Abdelkader Fenjiro, one of the early pioneers in Moroccan hospitality and hotel industry. In 1970, he left the comfort and security of prestigious hotel La Mamounia in Marrakech to invest all his energy in this grand project that turned into the Domaine de La Roseraie.
Since the beginning and regardless of the evident lack of infrastructures and facilities of this rural and secluded environment, surrounded by a rough nature, without logistic or financial means, he undertook recruiting in the nearby Berber villages and putting together in the meantime an ongoing construction site. Mister Fenjiro, since then, trained and formed generations of modern hotel industry technicians able to answer to a more and more demanding clientele while also meeting all requirements to cater for rich and famous.
One of its famous guests is the painter VALES, who enjoyed painting under the relaxing shade of century old olive trees. Throughout the years, the Domaine de La Roseraie never stopped expanding, growing, embellishing and remaining to this day a regional pride as well as the symbol of a successful partnership combining local competence and a great man’s vision.

The Domain offers paths and ways where one will stumble on many view points offering unique views over the TOUBKAL range, highest mountain tops in North Africa (4160 m). And to the famous AOUDAD sheep saved from extinction thanks to various programs (national park).
Throughout our sixty acres domain you will discover a rich floral park where scents of roses and wild flowers, makes up delightfully… Walking around our gardens, you will discover majestic agaves and beds of acanthus.
You will relax in the shade of century old olive trees while listening to the light murmurs of nature. At the end of the day, do not hesitate to taste one of our home made infusions of local aromatic plants such as thyme, rosemary, sage, etc.
Listen with enchantment to the sounds of Nightingales, Bulbuls and Blackbirds accompanying you through your stay, or try to stumble on the shyer ones: Cuckoos, Woodpeckers…
The valley is also the privileged passage way to migratory birds coming back every year to their nesting grounds: Storks, Blue Jays, Bee-eaters, Turtle Doves and Golden Orioles… But the Roseraie's magic does not stop at sunset, the altitude and the crisp air offer at night fall a magnificent sky.

Our table offers French cuisine and helps you discover the endless refinement of Moroccan specialities.
The domain provides its guests seasonal fresh produces and fruits: peach, plums, figs, pineapple guava and olive oil pressed the old fashion way, hence preserving its optimal taste and health benefits.
Lunch and dinner can be served on the terrace by the main pool, indoors in the rustic style dining room or Moroccan lounge. Indulge in ancient recipes and let yourself get carried by magical moments.
