Travel Enquiries

addictedtotravel.com is not a travel agent or tour operator, but has created a portal to allow the promotion of local Travel Experts to communicate directly with a community of travel enthusiasts (traveller) by way of using the sites technology. For any travel enquiries, communication will be directly between you the traveller and the local Travel Expert to ensure you receive first hand expert advice.

Any subsequent booking will also be directly with the Travel Expert and them only and they are fully liable for every aspect of your booking, according to their own terms and conditions; you are responsible for reading these booking conditions. The booking will be confirmed once you have sent an on-line confirmation and provided a deposit or payment as per the instructions of the Travel Expert and received confirmation of receipt. The Travel Expert is responsible for providing you with the final quote and for arranging and processing all the necessary payments directly, as addictedtotravel.com has no control or responsibility of the payment process or the transfer of payment information, such as credit card details. As the bonding regulations are different in each country we strongly encourage you to enquire about how your money is protected.

If you need to cancel or amend a confirmed booking, cancellation/amendment charges may be payable to the Travel Expert. The amount of such charges will depend on the individual Travel Expert’s cancellation policy and usually varies according to the period of notice given.

As such, we accept no liability in relation to any dealings or contract you enter into, or for any services or arrangements you purchase, or for the acts or omissions of any Travel Experts. The Travel Experts are governed by the laws of the country in which they operate.

We strongly recommend you take out personal travel insurance, before booking, for all members of your party. It is your responsibility to purchase adequate insurance for your particular needs.

Some overseas product may not have facilities for the disabled. It is your responsibility to confirm any special needs directly with the Travel Expert at the time of making the travel enquiry or booking.

Product detailed on our site constitutes an invitation by the Travel Expert for you to make an offer on the product and the Travel Experts reserve the right to accept or decline any such offer. All products on our site are subject to confirmation and availability and no warranties, promises or representations are given as to availability.

The Enquire or Book Now functionality is provided solely to assist you in planning your trip, check availability and to make a legitimate booking directly with Travel Experts, and for no other purposes. You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into this agreement and to use this site in accordance with all terms and conditions herein. You agree to be financially responsible for all of your use of this site (as well as for use of your account by others, including without limitation children living with you). You agree to supervise all usage by children of this site under your name or account. You also warrant that all information supplied by you or members of your household in using this site is true and accurate. Without limitation, any speculative, false or fraudulent booking or any booking in anticipation of demand is prohibited. You agree that the Enquire and Book Now facilities of this site shall be used only to make legitimate bookings for you or for another person for whom you are legally authorised to act. You understand that overuse or abuse of this functionality may result in you being denied access to the site.

Disclaimer

In addition to any disclaimers in the text of the terms and conditions, it is important to set out clearly some of the limitations of our liability and by reading these terms and conditions and using the site you are agreeing with the limitations in full.

Whilst addictedtotravel.com makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information published on our site including that of the Travel Experts and product, we cannot be held responsible for any errors, omissions or changes that may have occurred. addictedtotravel.com do not accept any liability for, or warrant the quality and standard of any of the product that is sold by the Travel Experts. All recommendations, opinions and prices for the Tours, accommodation and activities included on the site are provided for guidance only as these maybe subjective despite all best efforts. Services and facilities can be withdrawn at short notice and we do not accept any liability for the descriptions given, although all efforts are taken to keep descriptions updated on a regular basis.

addictedtotravel.com is a privately owned entity and nothing on this site shall be construed to imply that there is any relationship between it and any of the Travel Experts on this site. We do not accept liability for any loss or damage or other sum or claim of any nature whatsoever (direct, indirect, consequential or other) which arises, directly or indirectly, in connection with this site including, for the avoidance of doubt and not by way of limitation, any use of any information or material contained in this site or any inability to access or use this site. And addictedtotravel.com is not liable for any injury and/or damage to persons or property occurring during or as a result of any travel taken as a result of enquiries made through this site.

Modification of the terms and conditions

addictedtotravel.com reserves the right to change the terms, conditions, and notices under which this site is offered. Any future changes to our terms and conditions will be included in a revised version published on this page, accessible from our home page.

Advertising and links to third-party sites

This site contains advertising and links to third-party sites. addictedtotravel.com does not control the companies to which advertise on the site or are linked from our site and is not responsible for their contents. Governing law

These conditions are subject to English Law and the English Courts shall have sole jurisdiction. You hereby consent to this in all disputes relating to the use of this site, except for a direct dispute with a Travel Expert whereby the country of the Travel Experts operation will determine the governing law.

General

If any part of this agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law including, but not limited to, the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations set forth above, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of the agreement shall continue in effect.

These Terms and Conditions in conjunction with the Privacy Policy constitute the entire terms of use agreement between you the community member and addictedtotravel.com in respect of this site and it supersedes any previous contracts or communications. A printed version of this agreement and of any notice given in electronic form shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings.
