Domestic Flights in Thailand
Recent airline deregulation has meant that the country has seen a rapid growth of budget airlines. Popular routes are obviously between the main holiday centres of Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai and Koh Samui, but other towns and cities are served too. The national carrier, Thai Airways, has around 11 destinations at present with many more on a code-share basis. Other notable carriers include Nok Air, Bangkok Airways and Thai Airasia.
