In addition to Muscat Oman has two further regional airports – Salalah in the southern Dhofar region, and Khasab for Musandam.
Salalah can be reached using a combination of the above and Oman Air (with Gulf Air) Saudi Arabian Airlines (BA and Emirates).
Flights from the UK to Muscat do not connect with those from Muscat to Khasab, necessitating an overnight (or longer depending upon day of arrival) in Muscat. Oman Air currently fly from Muscat to Khasab on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
